Versatile great room for various activities. Accommodates 8 to 12 people for movement activities and 15 to 20 people for stationary gatherings. Features radiant floor heating and abundant natural light. Chairs and yoga gear are available for your use.

  • Chair Yoga

    Instructor: Carol Race

    Date & Time: Every Thursday from 10 to 11 am (excluding holidays)

    Description: This class introduces Yogic concepts of “yoking” together the body, mind, and spirit through breath and movement. Carol offers a gentle, thoughtful practice that provides long-lasting benefits. Participants will be asked to sign a release form.

    This class is currently full and not taking new members. 

    Cost: Suggested Donation of $10

  • Tai Chi

    Instructor: Michelle Hale

    Date & Time: Every Saturday, from 10 to 11 am (excluding holidays)

    Description: This Tai Chi class is a small group of practitioners who have been meeting weekly for the past 4 years. We practice the Sun 73 form and occasionally the Yang 24 form. Initially taught by Glen Ray, we have transitioned to a self-directed group. We welcome anyone interested in joining us. Some prior Tai Chi experience is helpful, but not required.

  • Hula Group

    Description: Juneau students of the hula school Hālau Hula o Mānoa are committed to learning and preserving traditional Hawaiian hula under the tutelage of their Kumu (teacher) Kilohana Silve, who lives in Hawai’i. The students dance old-style and modern hula, and occasionally perform. The students travel to Hawai’i periodically for workshops with their teacher. Inquiries from interested parties are welcome, and participation in a couple of trial lessons can be arranged.

    Description: The Daughters of the New Moon belly dance troupe in Juneau, Alaska, is dedicated to bringing residents a glimpse of an intriguing and beautiful art form.  As a not-for-profit belly dance organization formed in 1983, we strive to educate and inspire Juneau community members by offering a variety of classes and performances for all ages.  Our members continually strive to improve and learn this dance that has brought us together. We meet weekly for troupe rehearsals, with classes taught in the spring and fall.

    Description: Join us for a warm drop-in gathering for breastfeeding parents and those new to or entering the fourth trimester! Enjoy a cozy atmosphere with tea, snacks, and engaging conversation. This is a great chance to connect with other parents, share experiences, and access valuable resources.

  • Baby & Me Movement Series

    Cost: $90 (each series, includes all 6 sessions)

    Session 1: Wednesdays, 10:30 to 11:15 am - September 2nd through October 7th

    Session 2: Saturdays, 3 to 3:45 pm - September 5th through October 10th

    Description: Created for babies and toddlers (ages 2 months to 3 years) and their favorite grown-up, each class is filled with music, movement, games, props, and opportunities to strengthen your bond while supporting your child's development through play.

    Whether you're looking to connect with other families, try something new, or simply enjoy dedicated one-on-one time with your little one, we'd love to have you join us.

  • Prenatal Yoga

    Description: Join us this fall for our 6-week Prenatal Yoga Series, designed to help you feel stronger, more connected, and supported throughout your pregnancy.

    Each Saturday, we'll focus on gentle movement, breathwork, relaxation, and birth-friendly positions to ease common pregnancy discomforts and build confidence for labor and the postpartum journey. Whether you're new to yoga or have an established practice, this class is welcoming to all experience levels.

  • Childbirth Education

    Instructor: Madi Nolan Grimes

    Date & Time: September 26th & 27th 10 am to 1 pm

    Description: Our 2-Day Childbirth Education Intensive is designed for growing families who want practical knowledge, evidence-based education, and the confidence to approach birth feeling informed and supported.

    Over one weekend, Madi will cover topics like the stages of labor, comfort measures, pain management options, informed decision-making, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and more.

    Whether you're expecting your first baby or looking for a refresher, this class is a wonderful opportunity to prepare alongside your partner or support person and connect with other growing families.
